People seem to think all Bollywood celebs have had it done for them. You'd be very surprised

I  spoke to someone the other day about Bollywood actresses and how they stay in shape.

You’d be very surprised, if you read some interviews or watch them, they reveal very little. They may even lie a little and give very generic advice.

But the reality is they ALL incorporate weights into their routine one way or the other. The part you see is the Yoga and the Running and the Pilates. But deep down they still need to do some form of resistance training in order to get lean and achieve the “toned” look all women crave. Do they enjoy it? Maybe not all the time. They need to be fit for certain roles and photo shoots and appearances.

Oh, i'm not an insider by any means.  The trainers of these celebs actually post content on their social media - so it's there for the world to see! Just in case you thought I was making it up.

Anyway, why are you wanting to get fit and lose weight? Is it health? To look good? Both are fine. But understand this – you are no different to an overweight Anushka Sharma (if she was overweight). You both are humans and both have the ability to gain and lose weight. Yes there may a budgetary constraint with food and stuff, but eating healthy is NOT expensive anyway. All I’m saying, is that you can get fit, lean, toned and healthy just as these celebs are.

In fact you have it BETTER! These guys go through hell with their training regimes and have weeks to cram in some sessions and really restrict themselves. You don’t have that worry do you? Got a wedding coming up – then plan well in advance!

Priyanka Chopra is usually quite vocal about her approach and admits to not liking training in the gym – but she still gets it done!

 

“But they are rich and have trainers”

 

Yes. True. But you have so much information at your disposal. You have the internet. You have access to reasonably priced trainers also. Maybe you aren’t ready to begin a journey – it’s a mindset thing y’know.

In a 2017 interview with Elle, Chopra said she enjoyed all kinds of snacks while filming “Baywatch.” So she is human too. It’s not all plain chicken and asparagus. You can weight train, eat healthy, eat junk and still be fit!

Just to open some eyes up a little. There was no magic pill given to these celebs, they still need to put in the work!
