Supplements You Don't Need

Get ready to save some money! Here are a few things you do NOT need.

Supplement's You DON'T Need...

 

Sure there are plenty out there that have their place.  I use some supplements myself.  They certainly can help and play a big role.  But this is a multi-million pound industry - if not Billions!

 

Supplement companies feast on impatient consumers who want results fast. We like hearing that we can lose weight in 14 days.  So below are a few things that you should avoid.

 

 

  • Fat Burners. No explanation needed here.  You can not burn fat like that. Sorry.

 

  • BCAA - Arguments can be made for this, and rightly so. But for the general population who want to be fit, have muscle mass and lose fat, these are not needed. As long as you get a good serving of protein each meal, BCAA supplementation won't be needed.

 

  • Anything that promises "Muscle Gain". Look how ridiculous that actually sounds.

 

  • Raspberry Ketone - based supplements. Another unsafe and unhealthy fad. 

 

  • Similar to point 1 - AVOID fat loss pills.

 

  • Any Juicing or Detox - based supplements. Your liver is the real detoxifier. Going to the bathroom is the detoxifier.  Keep your liver healthy, eat fruit and veg, drink lots of water and detoxing won't be a concern.

 

  • Casein Protein - food will do just fine.  No need for this.

 

  • Testosterone Boosters. Resistance training, lean muscle mass, reduced body fat, quality foods (especially Fats) and sleep will aid in testosterone production.
