Which Foods Boost Metabolism?

Check out our guide, you won't regret it

Which Foods Help Boost Metabolism – Settling it once and for all!

There is nothing on this earth that will stimulate metabolism a few minutes after eating it.  Nothing. There is zero evidence to show direct increases (proper controlled studies – Not a bloody Netflix documentary).

Spices don’t turn on fat-burning hormones.  Lemon infused water does nothing.  Cinnamon doesn’t increase metabolism.  Green tea won’t shed your weight…. I could go on and on with some of the stuff out there.  People might want to argue and criticize me for having such a stance because it may have worked for them – but did you ever wonder why you lost weight in the first place?  You will most likely have been in a calorie deficit (which is the essential requirement for weight loss) and by drinking Green Tea, you will have thought this was the reason your body fat came down.

I get it.  Buying a tea that promises to boost metabolism and burn fat is appealing, its only human nature!  Trust me when I say – I was a sucker of these products in my early days.

But want to know how to ACTUALLY maintain a Healthy Metabolism?

  • Maintaining a healthy level of body fat

  • Having some lean body mass on your frame

  • Maintaining a healthy calorie balance (Low-calorie diets can put you in a degenerative state. Meaning thyroid output lowers and your metabolism can take a huge dip)

  • Good quality nutrients from whole foods.

  • Plenty of healthy Fats and lots of Protein.

  • Physical exercise.

  • 7-8 Hours of quality sleep per night.

This is as simple as it gets guys. You put together all of the above and your metabolism will remain elevated and at an optimal level.  Please don’t underestimate the simplicity of it.

We are not able to say that certain foods increase metabolism or that certain pills are good, it is very irresponsible to do so and the same can be said of someone else selling products or pushing you towards a sale.

Best bit of advice – If it’s too good to be true, well, it is.
