Why Having Muscle Means Easier Fat Loss – Especially for Women

Ladies need not fear muscle anymore. Read on to find out why exactly.

Muscle is a thing of beauty

It tightens your skin up if body fat is at a healthy level, it makes you stronger, lets you eat a little bit more food and it helps you burn calories at a slightly higher rate. Does that not sound good?

Read that again…

More muscle, means more tone, strength, energy, better food absorption and an increase in calorie burning.

“Won’t I look all big and muscly?”

‘Bulky’ I belive is the phrase that a lot of people are using.  Which is very outdated, but a phrase we still see nonetheless. The answer is no.  Bulk isn’t possible unless you are overeating and gaining weight.  When you lift weights, wonderful things start to happen!

You burn calories faster and stimulate muscle.  Always wanted that nice, toned round butt? Or a nice toned back without the fat? Well muscle is the key to this guys! The reason a woman will not get big is because they don’t have the hormones and ability to do so.  It is as simple as this.

Let me repeat – if you lifted heavy weights, it will not turn you into a man.  It is not possible at all.

Look at the image below.

That’s quite a difference. This is an average but it doesn’t mean all women are like this. Some produce more, some produce very little, but women simply can not produce as much as a man can in order to get big and massive.

Now there may be the few cases where a woman can produce a hell of a lot naturally, but this is very rare to see.  Most women you see who are big and huge are most likely using external drugs.  So don’t be afraid to lift please, you will not look like that.

Men already have a hard time gaining muscle, so how can a woman get jacked after lifting weights so easily?

Now that that’s out of the way, what should you be doing? High reps? Low reps? Light weights? Heavy weight?

80% of your workout should be based around strength and lifting heavy weights, safely though.  Make sure you perfect your technique and lift in a controlled manner – otherwise you will not be benefitting at all and may end up injuring yourself.

Lift in the region of 8-14 reps, this is a nice figure to work from. Focus on getting stronger each week and improving.

Muscle grows when you put tension and overload on it.  And if the goal is to tone an tighten your skin, then focus on lifting heavy guys.

When bodyfat starts to reduce, you will start to see that awesome tone that you thought was never possible – please take note of this.  When you start to develop muscle, you will notice your energy levels increasing, you will feel better in your clothes, you will be able to handle carbs a lot better and you will enjoy working out because resistance training is fun!
